HSE KPIs and definitions
Quantified goals have been set up to address three safety and three environmental performance indicators (KPIs) for Bureau Veritas operations and the implementation of its HSE Management System. Biannual reporting was started in 2007 to monitor the company’s performance.
The safety performance indicators are tracked worldwide, covering all Bureau Veritas entities.

The environmental performance indicators cover 30% of Bureau Veritas employees, based on their participation in the above mentioned Energy & Waste program.

Environmental performance indicatorsEnergy Consumption This is the average amount of energy (in MWh) consumed per Bureau Veritas employee per year.

Paper Consumption This is the average amount of paper (in kg) used per Bureau Veritas employee per year.
